Dear Mac Bay Families,
In 7th grade art, students have been learning how to draw realistically through observational drawing. A still-life of various objects is set-up in the middle of the room and each student has a slightly different perspective of the objects. Students are learning how to use a viewfinder to help them narrow their focus and transfer what they were seeing onto their paper in the right proportion and placement. After sketching in their objects, students begin adding value to make their drawings appear more realistic. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact me at [email protected]. Artfully, Mrs. Morrissey |
